If you ever drive through the sleepy fishing village of Mui Ne on the Vietnamese south coast you will already have been repelled some miles earlier by the sickening odour of rotting fish which it produces. However, Mui Ne proudly claims to produce the best fish sauce in Vietnam. Just as well then.
